Awards presented at the 15th Annual Michigan Science Fair

The following awards are based on approximately 50 students participating.  The number of second, third, and fourth place awards may be adjusted up or down depending on the number of actual students participating.

GRAND AWARD
    Awarded to the top individual projects.  The students will receive:
        - All expense paid trip to the International Science Fair to represent the State of Michigan  (students will be chaperoned by Michigan Science Fair volunteers)
        - Certificate designating accomplishment as a 'Grand Award Winner'
 
   
FIRST PLACE AWARDS
    Awarded to the top TWO individual projects.  Each student will receive:
        - Certificate designating accomplishment as a 'First Place Winner'
     

SECOND PLACE AWARDS
    Awarded to 3-4 individual projects.  Each student will receive:
        - Certificate designating accomplishment as a 'Second Place Winner'
       

THIRD PLACE AWARDS
    Awarded to 5-7 individual projects.  Each student will receive:
        - Certificate designating accomplishment as a 'Third Place Winner'
       

FOURTH PLACE AWARDS
    Awarded to 8-10 individual projects.  Each student will receive:
        - Certificate designating accomplishment as a 'Fourth Place Winner'

ALL OTHER PARTICIPANTS
        Will receive a 'participation' certificate in the Michigan Science Fair

ALL participants are also eligible to receive various professional awards.
