Awards to be presented at the 14th Annual Michigan Science Fair

The following awards are based on approximately 70 students participating.  The number of second, third, and fourth place awards may be adjusted up or down depending on the number of actual students participating.

GRAND AWARDS
    Awarded to the top TWO individual projects.  Each student will receive:
        - All expense paid trip to the International Science Fair to represent the State of Michigan
            (students will be chaperoned by Michigan Science Fair volunteers)
        - Plaque designating accomplishment as a 'Grand Award Winner'
        - $200 Savings Bond
      

FIRST PLACE AWARDS
    Awarded to the top TWO individual projects.  Each student will receive:
        - Plaque designating accomplishment as a 'First Place Winner'
        - $200 Savings Bond

SECOND PLACE AWARDS
    Awarded to 3-4 individual projects.  Each student will receive:
        - Plaque designating accomplishment as a 'Second Place Winner'
        - $100 Savings Bond

THIRD PLACE AWARDS
    Awarded to 5-7 individual projects.  Each student will receive:
        - Plaque designating accomplishment as a 'Third Place Winner'
        - $50 Savings Bond

FOURTH PLACE AWARDS
    Awarded to 8-10 individual projects.  Each student will receive:
        - Plaque designating accomplishment as a 'Fourth Place Winner'

ALL OTHER PARTICIPANTS
        Will receive a 'participation' award

ALL participants are also eligible to receive various professional awards.
