Category EN P09 Alternative Energy: Wind vs Water

Abstract This experiment tested wind energy against hydroelectricity. A wind

turbine and a water wheel were built and tested at wind speeds of 5 mph

and 10 mph, while the water was tested at heights of 1M and 0.5M.

Waters overall voltage was almost double the winds. In conclusion water

energy is more efficient and more practical to use in the Flint area.
